I used to get migraines a lot. Thank goodness not much anymore, but this week I was blasted by a terrible one and I realized that it has been almost 10 years exactly since my last migraine. And so....Madame de la Migraine, we meet again. Et Encore, je ne vous aimez pas.
I'm so sorry about the migraine, I have never experienced one, but have been told of the horrors. It did inspire you to create something beautiful, though...
ReplyDeletecan you do one for back pain?
ReplyDeleteI think I wouldn't mind it so much if it were a beautiful victorian lady...
Thanks, Rachel!
ReplyDeleteMai, It does seem odd, but maybe I have found my muse! Our Lady's of Pain, I think I might do one for back pain at that. So cathartic.

GORGEOUS!!!!! And so right-on. The elegance of migrain pain, and how it can be excruciatingly, well, not lovely, but something like that . . .
ReplyDeleteThe blinding clamp lamp and vice grip are perfect touches.

I am so sorry that you have to deal with migraines. One of my family numbers has it,and he said it is more than terrible. I hope that you don't get it too often. However, it did inspired you to create a nice piece of art. Nice work, Amy!!!! ^____^ Take care of yourself!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Though as a current migraine sufferer, I would've had her reclining on a fainting couch, I don't do vertical when Mdme de la Migraine comes a calling.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I was just thinking too that when I get one, I don't stay upright for long. But the head, the vise, the light and noise ... yeah, all that.
ReplyDeleteOh So True! So, a lovely plush Fainting Couch then. And someone please turn out the lights!
ReplyDeleteI sincerely hope that everyone is headache free upon reading this.

That's exactly how I feel when I get a migraine. Perfect! What a wonderful blog. Not sure how I arrived here but I'm glad I stumbled upon you. Glad you are feeling better.
