 Tomorrow, September 20, my new book comes out.  Written by singer/songwriter Jewel, it is a a song.  With pictures.
This is a new style for me.  And in fact I have never really had a book that pushed me out of the reality sphere. I guess poetry can do that for a gal. I loved it.

Wild Thing, you make my heart sing

Maurice Sendak elevated children's books to something beyond practical primers, tools or instruments to teach morality.  How do I thank someone that etched some of the first and best graphic words and images into my brain?
